About the artwork "Blessing of the Land" from the Birkhon "Al HaAretz HaTovah" for Independence Day:
From a process of listening and observing the nature of the Israeli land, I embarked on a journey where color, line, and a sense of earth intertwined to create a painting that resonates with the spirit of the Land of Israel.
The inspiration came from the Grace After Meals blessing—“Blessed are You, Lord our God, for the land and for the sustenance”—a phrase that embodies deep gratitude for abundance, for the land’s produce, for the connection between the sacred and the mundane, between nourishment for the body and the soul.
I asked myself: How can a painting become a prayer? How does the movement of a brush echo my essence? How, as a creator, do I reflect light and forge connections through color and form?
I set out on an intuitive journey where ink colors and free-flowing lines merged into a painted landscape.
During the process, I combined observation of nature with the free flow of ink colors to create a sense of life, light, and abundance that connects to the blessing “for the land and for the sustenance.”
Throughout the process, from the encounter between layers of colors and shapes, local flora emerged: olives, grapes, sheaves, citrus fruits. They reminded me of the Seven Species.

Dalia Hadad – A multidisciplinary artist, graduate of design studies at Shenkar, filled with intuitive creative inspiration, a sharp aesthetic sense, and the ability to connect people through art, style, and positive energy.
I create from inspiration drawn from Jewish culture, sacred texts, and childhood memories of a home filled with craftsmanship and creativity. My works range from intuitive painting, calligraphy, and illustration, rooted in a deep connection to words, color, and form.
I illustrated the Grace After Meals with a desire to illuminate the words in a new light, connecting holiness, color, and soul.
I am thrilled to participate in Beit Hillel’s project, blending tradition, art, and soul.
Today, I create and teach at my gallery in Tel Aviv, showcasing my work in exhibitions and on my website:
