About the artwork "In the Land that I Love" from the Birkhon "Al HaAretz HaTovah" for Independence Day:
Despite being made especially for the Birkhon, the artwork is a part of the paintings' series "Anu Banu" by Naama Eshel Tsuvairy, which is based on archive photographs from the begging of the Zionist movement and the establishment of Israel. I started painting those, using calligraphic pen on rough paper, a few months after 7.10. A part of the series is presented nowadays in the "Mabat" exhibition in Tivon.
The paintings express longing to hope in days I must search and find it. They carry a view of nostalgia, cleanliness and innocence, in days of unbelievble difficulty and challenge, as I try to remind myself that we have to build and be built here, and we face other days, beautiful and full of mercy, in this good land.

Painted in the inspiration of the phrase "for having given as an inheritance to our forefathers a desireable, good and broad land".
In appreciation to the Halutzim of all the kibbutzim, from Dan to Eilat, and every road leveler that isn't to rired.
shall reap in joy (Inspired by photograph of Zoltan Kluger – GPO, from Kibbutz Nir AM Archive, 1949)
painted in inspiration of the phrase "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy" in song of ascents, as a gesture of gratitude to every Halutz from the Negev and Gaza envelope, as they are.
Naama Eshel Tsuvairy – a landscape architect and painter. Mostly paints still landscape and Israeli landscape. Exploring the interaction and impact of humans on the natural landscape, and the visual language created by farming, infrastructures, planting and roads. Searching leavings that are left neglected in the landscape and the remains of the fight between them and the returning the regaining power of nature.
