Out of faith and love to the Torah, we promote building bridges between the tradition of generations, its values and its halachic world, and the here and now. We are proud and happy about the organization's growth, its internal diversity and its ability to maintain an open and honest dialogue internally and externally, in the spirit of the Jewish principle of disagreement and in the style of Beit Hillel that respect their interlocutors.
Rabbis and rabbinates work together in an active beit midrash, in voicing an attentive and diverse Torah voice, and in strengthening Torah in the Israeli reality."

We hold a variety of conferences and events for the general public on moral and Torah issues
The people of Israel seek the voice of a tolerant and welcoming Judaism – a pleasantly led Judaism that can bring a message relevant to Israeli society and the Jewish people as a whole. Beit Hillel works to make this voice heard at events and conferences we hold throughout the country and on digital platforms. Our aspiration is to bring to the public an up-to-date and fascinating engagement with Jewish and Israeli issues, in the spirit of Beit Hillel – a spirit of respect for disagreements and diversity, listening to every person and having a discourse of connection and brotherhood.
Iron Swords War
Strengthening the spirit during wartime. Support, prayer, volunteering and halachic guidelines.
During the great darkness that fell upon us, we did our best to bring light.
The rabbis and rabbis of Beit Hillel joined the effort to strengthen the spirit, creating videos, letters of encouragement and an array of online lessons; guiding volunteers in mourning homes; and publishing halachic articles relevant to the situation. All this is thanks to the volunteering and initiative of rabbis and rabbinates, and while many of them are in battles, alone with children, bombed or bear communal responsibility in a complex situation. We see a mission in strengthening the Israeli spirit from the springs of Jewish strength of all generations.
Meshivat Nefesh
Rabbaniyot (female rabbis) answer halachic questions in every field, leading the female Torah world forward
Meshivat Nefesh is a group of female Torah scholars who operate a responsa website where they answer halachic questions in all areas. The site grew out of the fruitful discourse at Beit Hillel, in which rabbis and rabbinates participate, and it answers the growing need for female answers to a wide range of questions.
Meshivat Nefesh's answers are an innovation in the halachic world: they are written with careful attention to the human and emotional details that accompany each halachic question, in a dialogue between the respondent and an advisory team that thinks together about the most beneficial and accurate response, and with full halachic commitment alongside a new, feminine, and contemporary perspective.
Alongside the website, Meshivat Nefesh also holds conferences, study sessions and collaborations for the benefit of observant female soldiers.

Every person has a place in the community and in Halacha. Accessibility, partnership and halachic response for people with disabilities
As attentive Torah leaders, Rabbis of Beit Hillel value integrating people with disabilities into a rich and meaningful religious life. A disability that a person suffers from should not lead to his exclusion from the holy place and from the community – on the contrary, we believe in the mission of bringing people with disabilities closer together and creating a supportive and respectful place for them within the communities and synagogues while paying attention to their needs and abilities with which they have been blessed. We believe that this combination will enrich and enhance the spiritual life of the entire community.
Therefore, Beit Hillel operates the Negishut website, which contains relevant halachic answers to various disabilities, conducts seminars for training accessibility collectors in synagogues, and creates innovative and rich content for those who seek a whole community where there is room for everyone.
